scotland outreach july 2022
Scotland July 10-17, 2022 – Come join us for a week of friendship golfing in Scotland, the home of golf. These dates coincide with the 150th anniversary of the The Open held at St. Andrews. Thousands of people from around the world will go to Scotland to attend this event. Our team will visit St. Andrews a few days for possible entry during a practice round or during the actual event if tickets become available. During the rest of the week, we will look to play golf around the country and make some new friends as we share our lives, including our love for golf and for Jesus. It’s a very relaxed and relational approach, asking the Holy Spirit to lead.

My wife and I went to St. Andrews, the home of golf, for a 3 week outreach in July 2023. It was a fabulous time making new friends and seeing what God has been doing in the city. We played golf with local believers and met some new friends. We also prayed for the city and for a house to serve as a discipleship house for golfers who make pilgrimages to play the famous Old Course in St. Andrews. It’s a special city! We are partnering with others in the golf world to see that happen. Scotland will be a yearly event, so come join us! This city is impacting the world through the game of golf.

A gathering of YWAMers from across the globe who love God and who love the game of golf.
Our purpose is to get together to pray, plan and play – all around the game of golf and the Great Commission.
Joining us will be a few US golf professionals and others who have been making disciples in the world of golf for many years, such as folks with the Payne Stewart Foundation, Links Players and leaders with the PGA Bible Study. They will share their thoughts and insights and pray with us as to how we can serve each other and grow the Kingdom through golf.
Space is limited for this event. Please spread the word with many golfers you may know of in YWAM and let’s together develop a YWAM Golf circle in the mission where we can collaborate, partner and share resources.
