The gDTS will combine the unique discipleship principles of a regular DTS and add the element of golf for a truly exciting experience.
The Discipleship Training School is a requirement for applying as YWAM staff, and serves as a prerequisite to all other training courses with the University of the Nations.

One month golf instructor training program for those wanting to learn how to teach golf to beginners. We have options to learn from experienced golf teaching professionals in Maryland, Arizona, and Seattle. Dates are flexible. Costs to be determined on an individual basis.

This first golf DTS was a partnership between YWAM Eastern Europe and YWAM Phoenix, AZ. We are grateful to the staff of YWAM Phoenix for their willingness to help host the golf DTS in 2014. YWAM Eastern Europe has been serving in golf ministry since 1996 with the brief launch of Ukraine’s fi rst driving range. Later, in the mid 2000’s, as golf began to develop in Ukraine, a few YWAM staff began building relationships which led to giving golf lessons, running seminars, hosting golf shows, playing tournaments and coaching the national team.
The golf DTS is being planned to be run in various key locations around the world. We are excited to see this new opportunity grow and in fl uence many people to follow Jesus in the world of golf

Outreach location (10 weeks) : to be announced! Possible locations are Asia (China, Vietnam), Western Europe (Scotland, Ireland) or Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova).
Lecture Phase : $3495.00 USD
Outreach Phase : $2500-4500 USD (depending on outreach location)

What will I learn?
Learning to follow Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life is what this school is about. Biblical worldview and life lessons from golf will be interwoven into the school through lectures, small group discussions and one on one mentoring. Quality international speakers will visit each week to teach, encourage and impart the ways of God both creatively and relationally
Individual golf lessons from a seasoned golf pro will take place 2 times a week and a full game of golf played most Saturdays throughout the course.
Digital swing analyzing, golf training aids, golf movies and 19th hole discussions groups will add to the golf learning experience. Our goal is to see your golf index decrease and your love for the game and God increase.
After the first 3 month lecture phase, students will participate in a 10 week outreach phase where they will do friendship evangelism, teach golf to young people and make disciples through various types of missionary activity – all around the game of golf.
This school is for young men and women (18 and older) who want to increase their golf ability and who desire to go to the next level in their relationship with God and His will for their lives.
